Hi - I’m Anant, CEO of Guided Energy. I’m a Cambridge & MIT engineer living in Paris. I’ve helped thousands of fleets reduce their emissions but cofounded Guided when I met Eric and saw there was an opportunity to scale my impact:
- Fleets need to transition 90m vehicles to electric by 2030 - a mix of regulation and incentives are pushing them. But on the ground, things break down. Fleets are unprepared to deal with fluctuating grids, nonlinear batteries and all of the new complexity that comes with electrification
- Guided is re-designing how commercial fleets consume energy, starting with an optimisation platform that enables fleet managers and drivers access the best electricity to hit their routes.
- Having launched in 2023, we are growing fast — we work with some of the most known fleets and have connected ~1,000 EVs to date, with contracts to triple that
Backed by Sequoia, we are racing to rebuild this broken, trillion dollar fleet energy market from the ground up.
The role
We are looking for a sales unicorn:
- Someone who needs no internal sales processes to get started but can also build the sales playbook as we scale
- Someone who is comfortable building a pipeline from scratch but can also execute on it at the same time
- Someone who not only understands our product but also can leverage customer insight to shape where it goes
- Someone who loves working as an individual contributor but can lead and rally the team to solve customer problems
- Someone who is as comfortable cold calling prospects as they are navigating enterprise sales cycles
Expectations
- First 30 days:
- Demonstrate that you can open doors that no-one else can
- Book 20+ meetings
- Build an intuition on what resonates with prospects
- Have a plan in place to scale your pipeline
- First 90 days:
- Closed first trials with prospects
- Have a pipeline in place that demonstrates a path to exceeding ACV target
- Have a clear understanding of the product, customer and positioning
- First 365 days:
- Closed key deals with a pipeline in place to scale in year 2
- Have playbook and structure in place to begin scaling in year 2
- Key decision maker in the company on everything from product roadmap to marketing to commercial plans
