Job Descriptions

Guided Energy is the smart energy platform to power the next generation of renewable, electric fleets.

The background: A mix of Regulation and incentives are pushing businesses towards EVs, and companies are setting ambitious targets for decarbonisation. But on the ground, things break down. Fleet managers suddenly have to deal with fluctuating grids, variable pricing, and nonlinear battery curves that change based on demand and location and weather. Their legacy systems just don’t work, and they end up with higher costs and lower per-vehicle revenue than they expected.

We are building the future operating system to run the next generation of sustainable fleets. Leveraging Eric’s ML research on optimisation algorithms and by building integrations across a fragmented ecosystem, the Guided platform makes it easier and cheaper to charge, operate and manage electric vehicles.

Our mission is to make good for the planet also good for business. By leveraging the software and data available in the new EV ecosystem, we can empower sustainable fleets to outcompete their polluting counterparts.

Our vision is to build a new kind of energy company. Leveraging our optimisation platform, we can build the portal for fleets to access the cheapest, renewable electricity across their operations and redesign this $1tn fleet energy market.

About us

Founded in 2023, Guided Energy is backed by Sequoia and leading VCs to accelerate fleet electrification. We are working with some of the most known fleets in Europe and are getting ready to scale our platform across thousands of electric vehicles.

Anant has been fighting climate change his whole career. Whether it’s building wave turbines at Cambridge or smart heating solutions at MIT or helping large fleets optimise their operations, he has a track record of building great products that decarbonise the highest emitting industries.

Eric loves applying cutting-edge technology to big and impactful problems. He started as a Data Scientist, notably building the recommendation engine at ManoMano. He then went back to academia to do a PhD in Machine Learning on optimal transport and allocation problems. Now he’s leveraging those exact algorithms to work on the most urgent problem of our lifetime.
